  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Re. 1:5,6 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, thefirstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father — to him be glory and power for ever and ever!Amen.

At my church, a couple of months ago,( i go to a vineyard church) we had a vistor, Bob Craine, who was one of the early founders of the vineyard movement. He preached on this scripture. What he said has very much stuck in my mind. That we are all priests. That as priests we minister on to the Lord, in worship. We also minister to others. That as priests of the Most High God, that we can Bless others. This idea of blessing others has very much been on my heart since. In the past i have been a very cynical and critical person; shoot down people, shooting down their ideas and shooting down their dreams. When i do this, i curse them.

In these days I repent of this behavior, and  i pray that instead that i would bless others. In this world we live in their are so many people lost and in pain. These people need our blessing, our encouragement, and our prayer. How can i bless? by listening instead of offering an unsolcilted opinion, i can pray for someone instead of judging them, that i can be patient with people who are anger or depressed. With the Lord strength, may we be able to do this.

Today, Lord,

I Pray that I would be a blessing to others.

I agree, we have to be a blessing to people

God is dealing with me on this too. Showing me that there is prayers that only God can answer – those who need supper natural intervention, and those that the Body of Christ can answer.

Example: If someone is sick, only God can heal, no matter how much ‘spiritual power’ anyone can have. We are just a channel by laying our hands and anoints with oil. God is doing always the healings.

If I am in a prayer room and heard someone pray for ‘bread’ and I feel the prayer is touching my heart and I am in a position to supply the bread, I can become a prayer answered.

I believe if we are in tune with the Holy Spirit we will know exactly where and when to be an answer to a prayer. Be a blessing, we need the body of Christ to stand in love and unity

Before being a blessing to others, I think you first have to believe you're a blessing to yourself. Knowing this gives you an inner peace that can't help being passed on to others. Maybe its something a major like helping someone in need or as simple as smiling at a stranger. Who knows...that smile may be just what that person needed to make them feel worthwhile.
