This thread will feature the *drum roll* Battle of the Video Game Stars!! Every week I will feature a stand off between two video game characters. You vote for who would win. Not whose cooler or who you like more, but who would honestly win. I can't do a poll version cause then I'd have to make a thread each time. After 8 battles, we'll have the winners from those stand off. After those, the semifinals, and finally, the winner of them all.

Sorry, Pac Man is a great classic yellow... face... thing... guy... but ya gotta look at when these 2 face off...

Sure, Mario is gonna be freakin out at first.. there a big yellow face goin.. *chomp chomp chomp* right at him... but Mario's like wait, I've dealt with these guyz before. The metal ball & chain dogs, remember? So he'll be runnin around the maze until he founds a mushroom then VWOOOM. Extra big Mario. Little Pac Man. So then pac man (fearless little dude, u gotta give him credit) will latch onto Mario's little toe. That is, until Mario finds his flower power and then... well... ya know - fire power time. Lol. End of story

hahah that's how I think it'd play out, so I gotta give this one to Mario!

(BTW Great thread idea, I hope this one stays alive!)

Mario will shoot a fire ball at pacman, then pacman will eat it, mistaking it for his staple food: a dot, and get indigestion. While he's raiding the medicine drawer for a pepto bismol, Mario jumps on his head and kills him.

I'd say it'd be a race. If mario grabs a flower first, he'll win, but if pacman can find one of his circles first, mario's toast. As for who gets them first, I'd say mario would find his flower first, since he can actually move in 3d. Pacman is still confined to his little 2-dimentional maze world. So my vote, Mario.

Well, if any of you have played the latest Pacman game for Gamecube, you'd have to know that the Pac man now sports his Super Butt Bounce. This is a most powerful new weapon in Pac's arsenal. It allows the yellow wonder to bounce hard and bounce high. It can be used to vanquish all but the most powerful villians.

I think it would be a stalemate.

Mario would get a mushroom, Pacman would get a mushroom.

Mario would get a starman, Pacman would get the Super-Dot.

Pacman can eat whatever Mario would throw at him and Mario would be too fast and sneaky to get caught by Mario.

I think after awhile they would both get tired and go have a beer with one another.

It wont always be Mario vs Pacman, it'll change after every week (3 days, actually, after this one).
