I voted for Zeppelin.

I think they are more talented, I like their songs more, and they can really rock it! Nothing against the Beatles, I love the Beatles, I just feel that Zeppelin is better quality music.

Yep. Floyd should have gone all the way. I went with Zep though, because they were the band that actually got me interested with the quality rock of the days of yore.

THE BEATLES

The Beatles easily they have influenced just about every group that has come onto the market sinve the early 60's.

Led Zepp are great too, but there influence, although great, has not matched The Beatles!

Also the Beatles are still selling millions of copies world wide, e.g. their "1" album of a couple of years ago.

i went beatles.


it was hard. i don't know how Led's albums compare to Revolver, or abbey road. and i don't know if physical graffiti does for me what the white album does.

i love led, and they definately rock out a little more than the beatles.

But i think the beatles were more creative. i mean, they wrote helter skelter, and on the SAME ALBUM, they also weren't afraid to put some sillier stuff like bungalo bill, or the Piggies song. With Zeppelin, there wasn't quite as much creativity.

i think they are equally important to music, but i picked beatles because i think they were more open-minded musically.

I think you are right about that. And thats the only downside I can find to Zeppelin. But not enough to swing my vote

i think that's one thing that the beatles and Phish have in common. They aren't afraid to write songs with silly lyrics.

there aren't too many bands that depart from writing the serious lyrics about love, death, God, and sex.

I love Zep but I agree with you for basically the same reason. And besides, I think Revolution is the greatest rock and roll song of all time. It rocks out and it personifies rock and roll.
