Basketball...
Tis a very strange sport
With a basketball
Running up and down the court
I never could quite get this game
But I am glad to say
I got something out of it
But I didnt like the game
I noticed that
Though its strange to see
That basketball could be symbolically
I notice that the game in fact
Resemble my every day at bat
Like when they take the shot
From any were on the court
It reminded me of the time I tried
To reach a goal and failed
But the team mate that got the rebound
Reminded me of the friend that helped me win
I cant say really that I try my best
And that what the players say
But my life is in fact
Like the game of basketball
Even though you might not see it
The team mates are you friends
In life you might not like it
In the game you might hate it
But basket ball can be quite like
Your walk in every day life
So next time you get that ball
Think of your every day trials
And when you take that shot
Make sure to reach your goals
