baptists and drink?

well our minisiter was talking about something that happened to him and he said some baptists believe it's wrong to drink. can someone please explain this

• Do you ever wish that you had never taken that first drink of alcohol?

• Do you drink in your car, at work, in the bathroom, on airplanes, or other public places?

Can't argue with that. I would NEVER drink an American beer , but some of the imports are okay.

Oh yeah, it is great. I had it for the first time in Washington Dc. It was so good, that it suprised me.

I have about half a beer about once every four or five years. I don't really like it, but every once in a while I suscumb to my sister's peer pressure and get one. Last time was when we went to St Lucia about five years ago. We had a Piton beer and it wasn't horrible. Very mild and light. Still beer though. I guess it's either something you like or don't like.

Beer is good with certain foods like fish. Other than that I don't much care for it either. Wine for me is awful.

You mean you don't go into your local brewpub and order the IPA????

If bitter is what you don't like try a Michelob. When they make that dreck they must not use any hops at all.

Basically, LL, any American beer you can buy in a can is about the same as the next, but the American microbrews and a few of the mid-size breweries like Sam Adams have about as much quality and variety as European beers. The dark Mexican beers like Dos Equis and Negra Modelo are pretty good, too.
