I am curious,, are most of the main baptist churches against abortion? it seems lotsa protestant denominations are saying abortion is ok now and I was wondering was the main view from the baptist churches were..

Back to the original question: Let's just say that there is no so-called main Baptist church. There are many different Baptist churches, which is essentially why they came to exist in the first place. They don't believe in a high Baptist authority, and every church is different.
The only thing we all believe in is baptism by immersion. So let's leave it at that.

It's not that simple & you know it isn't. I think you need to read some personal accounts, pro & against abortion to get more perspective on this issue. Because that is a hell of a polarized statement that smacks of a great deal of inexperience & lack of consideration or compassion for anyone who has had to deal w/ the issue of abortion personally or has been touched by it.

Plain and simple... Abortion is Murder... Period....

I can make such a judgement because one does not need to experience before one can know what the mind of the Lord is.

I can hate this sin with such intensity because I know God hates it even more. Fifty million american innocents murdered. All sin is evil, all sin is to be hated, but because of the egregious nature of this one, it has to take precidence. It is the obligation of all men to defend the defenseless.

More innocent babies have been killed with the help of tax payer money than the number of Jews Hitler killed in his life time. I take it you don't get angry over what Hitler did either using your logic?

I have known women who have had it done. I have known women who have given their baby up for adoption. I have women who kept their babies and should have given them up for adoption.
As far as hatred, my disdain with the issue is that birth control is still ignored as a solution, including abstinence. It this let everyone have sex with no consequences and if they don't like being pregnant let them get an abortion even at 7 months. I also detest that adoption is some kind of joke to most pro-choice people. You always get this system is overloaded better to kill them attitude that I honestly can't stand. There is also this attitude of women don't have to be accountable for their actions and should be able to just do what they want with their children.
