I was saying that I acknowledge and accept the scriptures you submitted for consideration.What do they acknowledge and accept with enthusiasm? It is obviously the fact that we are only saved by faith, not being baptized.
But it doesn't say "whether you are baptized or not". Is says "He who believes and is baptized". So with only these two verses of scripture we have established that belief and baptism are requirements for salvation. And we haven't even scratched the surface of everything else the NT has to say on the subject.Mark 16:16 also emphasizes you must believe to be saved whether you are baptized or not to be saved. I am sure this is a good citation for the argument against infant baptisms.
It says what it says.
