Baptism problems...

Not that I don't have plenty of time to figure this out on my own, but I'm open to suggestions. Say I am a minister who needs to baptise a new believer, immersion method. Barring baptising them in a bath tub, swimming pool, or an unfamiliar church, what are my options?

Please don't try to sway me with arguments for alternate baptism methods. I'll consider that after all my other options are exhausted.

Maybe going to a local river, lake, or pond? If not, see if you can invest in building a concrete immersion tank in your church.

Also cattle water tanks might be an option. You could put plastic sheeting in the back of a pick up truck and put water in it. How about hot tubs? Lots of options. God will open one up when the time comes.

How about a trailer, an army trailer is the best. But, a normal trailer needs a plastic liner.

How about a cattle trough.

How about digging a hole in the ground, and place a plastic liner in the hole.

How about a water tank, placed on the ground.

At our Christian motorcycle ralllies, they put a liner in the back of a pickup truck and fill it up. It blew my mind the first time I saw it. Wow! I'm out of another religious box.

You can actually, hire, pools in the UK on a temporary basis.

The only issues with these is they take an age to fill, and even longer to empty!

two years ago I baptized a young man this time of year in a hot tub. It was a fairly pleasant experience. We had friends and family on the deck around the tub and down he went!

Yeah, It was good. He was a U.S. Marine being sent back to Iraq. There was no time to waste and he wanted to be baptized. It was fun.
