Baptism origin = Full Mikveh Jewish purification doctrine. This action symbolized (spiritually) one who was once unclean, is now clean, from (Tamei to Tahor) from death to life.

When you publicly undertake the Emblem/symbolic representation I.E. water baptism. Where you die to self & are immersed (buried emblem) & rise up (resurrection emblem). A visible outwardly expression of one's inner Spiritual dedication/commitment. Of FAITH in the redemptive, sin atoning death (fulfilling heavens sin required law - DEATH - Rom 6:23), burial (proof Jesus died) & resurrection (Fathers receipt, sins required payment received & accepted) of our great God & Savior, Jesus the Christ -Tit 2:13.

Col 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision """made without hands""", in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Deut 30:6 (A) the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart,
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
