When it gets warmer i want to be baptized in a river if anyone knows anywhere here i can do this. Any church willing to do this for me? i want to be baptized in GOD'S creation and not inside of a church.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That is a nice thought. I know of a sound Christian gathering in the Denver area if you would like to meet them. I don't suppose the river or lake would be great until summer...right? You can PM me. Look up always!

From what I could find, Glenwood Springs Baptist Church baptizes in a Roaring Fork River. I would let them know you would like to be baptized in a river, and I think they would be alright with it.

I would suggest browsing sites and making some calls, if your sincere in your faith there are Christians who will make sure you are baptized. If you are really having problems with it I can make some inquiries myself, there are always ministers who will do whatever it takes to encourage a potential fellow working in this dark world.
