VOW just told me that she can't access CF.com from work anymore! The firewall now blocks her access here.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm her e now. Yeah, I do think the firewall was a directive from God. I KNOW I was spending too much time here ("Hello, my name is VOW, and I'm a CF junkie...") but I also feel I made a definite contribution. I probably need time to focus on other things. Just reading thru the OBOB tonight, I felt myself growing angry and frustrated, and very sad. Even my beloved Freezer seems to have been declared a battle ground of sorts.
I love every one of you. I have learned so much about God, about His Son, about my precious faith, about the glorious Church, and especially about myself. I've grown as an apologist, and I'm a much better Christian for all that I've seen and read here. And oh, the precious friends...
I'm going to take it to prayer, and see what I am supposed to do.
