The folks over at Answers In Genesis deserve a little bit of credit for listing a variety of Creationist arguments that they themselves deem to be bad arguments, so much so that they suggest Creationists not use them.
Which got me to wondering what sort of arguments we atheists use against the Bible or God in general that are not sound arguments. What are the PRATTs that atheists should stop using?
I can think of a few. The whole "can God make a rock so big He can't lift it" question is logically invalid. The argument that the Bible says pi=3 is also weak, because it would be perfectly understandable to give approximate measurements in that situation. If the Biblical reference had pi=27, well, then that would be something else, but 3 is the result of acceptable rounding.
I think there are plenty of legitimate arguments against the supposed facts of the Bible, and the nature and existence of God. But some are better than others. From your viewpoint, which ones are the worst?
