  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Ah, the roosters, at my mum's place they crow all night! And then in the daytime there's the geese and peacocks, at times the noise can be deafening! But they're entertaining to watch, and the kids love them, and it's a nice change from the city. Mum's entertaining to watch too, she treats those animals like children - in fact, I think she treats em better than she ever did us!

Are you on very friendly terms with your close neighbors? I say this because we had neighbors with chickens and a rooster. Oh how I wanted to leave them a recipie for rooster stew. This rooster crowed almost every hour 24/7. very loudly and we were close. The rooster dissappeared, thankfully and later the hens began to crow. Rabbits are nice.

Wow! I didn't know that hens would crow! My Mom has some chickens and my step-Dad has them so spoiled that they'll chase you wanting to be petted! But then again, they live in a rural area too so it isn't much of a problem. They also own a goat, some ducks, dogs, and some cats. Two of the cats are mostly indoor and outdoor cats. The rest are strictly outdoor cats. The one is a beautiful male Seal Point Siamese named Simba. He's about 7 years old and is treated just like the human members of the family. Everyone adores Simba Joseph Williams! He goes outside a lot but he also comes inside at night. Then there is the new gray Tabby kitten they got whose name is Princess. She's adorable! She's currently an inside cat until she gets older and then she'll likely be a mostly outdoor cat.
