the country song on now has the line in it:
daddy was a backrow baptist.
so i figured there might be something on google about how the term is being used.
most of those i looked at, a fraction of the over 1000 found, seem to use the term as an aloof or private person, not as the song does for someone who is not saved but goes to church for the sake of his wife and children.
so i figured there might be a "backrow presbyterian" somewhere on google as well.
well what do you know? there ain't none.
since i always sit in the back row, for i'm not comfortable any further forward, this is a good thing.
however, i'm curious, is there an equivalent term with presbyterian in it? or is it not a notable fact that there exist somewhat aloof or outwardly unfriendly presbyterians? *grin*
