Back to preaching after 30 years

More than thirty years after leaving full time ministry, God has brought me back in. I have a men’s seminar, Spiritual Battle Plan, to encourage men to really get in the battle against sin and find victory through a closer relationship with God and their brothers. A good bit of this comes from my own experience, as God brought me to a great deal of victory over the entrapment of pornography after a 40 year struggle. I’m working on a second seminar for a mixed audience. I am also working on finishing my first book, with a lot more of my story and Bible study. I currently live in S. Korea with the American military community. I share my seminars at base chapels and churches both here and in the U.S. I also hope to expand to other cities in Asia. Hi, Congrats, The callings of God cannot be denied. Ive taken a break from ministry due to some health issues. But tring to find a church to pastor. God Bless

In regards to returning to full-time ministry, I'm sure He'll give you the wisdom, guidance, and strength to complete what He wants you to do. It's great that we can trust Him.

I occasionally get called to counsel men by chaplains and counselors. My seminar is designed to help men face their sins and find victory through their relationships with God their brothers. After extensive sharing of my own struggle with lust, I have mostly American audiences sit in table groups and share themselves. I believe it is very important to shed light on the darkness of our "secret sin". I have two prayer requests for the seminar. First, for clear leading of the Spirit in bringing Spiritual Battle Plan to Korean Churches. I have a Korean friend who is working on getting me in. Korean men, as other Asians, have a difficult time confessing to each other as they will "lose face", especially to one who is older or younger. Our plan is to go to churches with a large enough college aged group to see if we cannot work through this. The seminar is already geared visually to appeal to this group. We will continue to have table groups after each talk. I need wisdom in wording the questions to enable them to open up about sin, even generically. Then we need a plan to bring two or three together for personal sharing.
The second prayer request is for support of this ministry. I have a number of places to take the seminar to in Japan, Hawaii, Texas and possibly Guam and Okinawa. But have no means of funding the travel.

God bless you, brother. Those are the years that the locust have eaten. God will return to you far more.

After several years of trying to worm my way into full time ministry through my own, fleshly, efforts, I finally gave God an ultimatum:

"No, no, no more. I'm DONE! If you want me to preach then you're going to have to drag me, kicking and screaming every inch of the way."

Now, after a few years of "softening up" on the "back side of the desert" God seems to be leading, and I seem to be following, and only kicking & screaming just a little.
