If we can have the search with speed, great. If speed must be sacrificed for the search, I'd leave the search function out. Those are my thoughts.

I'm with you here. 1 minute to load a page is too long! I almost fell asleep earlier today.

If it gets as slow as it did before because of this search then the search has to go. That was not just a little slowness sacrifice. Not everybody has ultra high speed internet.

Big apologies, but I've had to reduce Find Own Posts from 200 to 50 - this is because 200 was putting too much strain on the servers still.

CF should be a lot faster with some of the mods I've made to the database... we shall see how we go at peak time...

ITA 50 looks like 'enough' ... especially if it keeps us from crashing and/or slowing down again.
