Baby Shower question

I know your really not suppose to throw yourself a baby shower but I really want someone to throw me one! lol. I am registered already. Is it rude of me to give my registry info out to my family. I didnt get to have a shower with my last pregnancy! (Lost the baby) So any way to suggest to the family with out sounding greedy??

I was going to throw a baby shower for myself.. with number 2, but my husband really discouraged me from it so I asked someone. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. Is there anyone you could ask to throw it for you if it'd make you feel better, like a mom or sister or someone? You could offer to help organize it and such?

Ya I just didnt know if that would sound greedy! lol. I dont need nothing big just all the women getting together enjoying some food and CAKE! lol

I was in the same situation & low & behold my hubby threw me a surprise shower. I was scared to ask anyone to throw me one & we did go register but I wasn't aware at the time it was for my surprise shower. I kept saying why register no one knows about us registering.

I don't understand why family members can't step up & just throw a shower. It's frustrating I know. My mom lives 7 hrs away but she still came & she could have easily done what my hubby did. Maybe say to your family I think I may throw a shower & see what they say.
