  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Awesome vision...

This happened a few weeks ago...
I couple weeks after receiving the Holy Spirit, I was going through many trials and was being attacked spiritually in school and everywhere else.

During a prayer by myself, I was praying in tears because I was going through so many emotional trials.

I found myself kneeling before the cross, crying. I saw Jesus nailed on the cross, dead. I was holding his foot as while kneeling with my head down.

I was praying that I can't handle everything that's going on while still trying to witness to my friends and strangers.

I took my hand off His foot. I then looked up, and saw the Lord standing before me, in perfect posture. Clear white. Shining. In pure glory, before me.

He looks at me and simply says "Arise, for I have risen."
He hands me my bible and points back to the world.

The perfect words to comfort my heart.

Amen! :) :) :)

Poohbear! You certainly did right in going to Jesus! Keep running to Him much! He will give you ongoing spiritual fortitude to keep fighting the good fight of faith! He bids you thus...with more encouragement...

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Psalm 18:1-2 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 31:18-19 How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear You, which You bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in You. In the shelter of Your presence You hide them from the intrigues of men; in Your dwelling You keep them safe from accusing tongues.

Hebrews 12:2-3 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Oh wow, I just got goosebumps when I read this because the similarities between your vision and my dream are striking. I also dreamt that I was weeping at the foot of the cross, looked up and there was Jesus standing right in front of me. I'm so glad that someone else was able to experience this. It truly was an awesome feeling. Praise Jesus.
