i know ur feeling...sorry i havn't heard of them but i posted a topic earlier bout the band dogs die in hot cars and nobody seems to have heard of them either...my verdict is that they simply dont have the quality taste in music that we have!! =)

sheesh, they're one of my favorite bands, even though i totally dislike hardcore and metalcore.

anway, the guitarwork is awsome, the vocals are alot better than their hardcore brethren, and they have many different styles in their music. Freakin awsome

I could be more specific, but not right now. For example, Immortal Souls isn't exactly Black Metal. They are Gothenburg Metal which is Melodic Black Metal. But it's on the same line.

Avenged is genius...they write incredible music. My favorite song it either Eternal Rest or Radiant Eclipse, I can't decide. They're phenomenal. Do you play guitar? Can you play any of their stuff?

Eternal Rest is one of my favs on the CD.

I was talking to anyone who would answer...Unholy Confessions is a lot of fun to play...probably my favorite one to play.

I've always thought Avegened Sevenfold was kind of weak as far as the metal/hardcore fusion goes. Too much like WINGER meets Earth Crisis but without the good parts from either. You might like Overcast, which was doing the metal meets hardcore thing back in '96/'97 or Bones Brigade which is more like straight-to-it hardcore with Slayer riffs injected.

Dude...Winger? ...please direct me to the song where you found this dreadful comparison Avenged is in a league of their own, my friend, I wouldn't know what band to compare them to, but Winger is not a healthy start.

That was my thought when I heard Sounding The Seventh Trumpet. I haven't listened to that CD since, maybe I lost it. It's just not my thing at all. There's metalcore bands I'm way more into like Overcast, Unearth, Shattered Realm, Black Dahlia Murder, etc.
