I cannot see my custom avatar Avatar, it just has text that says "Komnenos' Avatar" Please fix As soon as possible!

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

there are many people having this problem.....could someone put a notice out there for everyone to see that says.....
"we are experiencing problems loading the avatars....don't change your avatar settings....we will let you know when it is fixed...."
it would make for happier posters out there to know of the problem before they experience it. just a thought.

Yeah my Living Avatar is kerschplunken too, and while I understand that there may be other programming issues more important than my avatar, the lack of response (going into my 2nd week now) is what bugs me. It would be so simple to say "I see the issue and have 3 other issues before I can work on it" or "I haven't forgotten" but to go for such long times with no kind of response is just not cool. I have asked and asked for someone who would be sort of an intermediary to at least contact users so they don't feel like no one is listening...I even volunteered to do it myself as a courtesy!...
