Well, it's been like 10+ episodes so I say we can get this thread started again.

First I have to say its lame that they've put Avatar on hold again, but the last episodes aired have been awsome! Thus far my favorite part was the confessions in "The Beach" and the follow-up part crashing (in the literal sense). "Day of Black Sun was oth exhilerating and frusturating. It was so close to a victory, and Azula screws it up again! Then she's all sadistic about how Suki gave up on Sokka rescueing her, which really ticked be off since I still know jacksquat about what happened to one of my favorite characters! On a brighter note, Zuko finally went to the good side and gave his dad a lesson.

This is the second time they leave us hanging with something that was supposed to be good going disasterously wrong. Nick sure loves cliffhangers, except the cliff is Appa and they're not hanging there flying aware with sadness and bitterness.

Which was a pretty lame episode honestly, except we saw a different side of Katara. That girl can be bitter.

I guess Katara and Sokka's mean treatment makes the audience more sympathetic with Zuko.

I watched it at my friends house. We were watching the second series episodes 9-12 as it was on TV as she has the nickelodian channel. I really enjoyed those 4 episodes. Avatar was learning to earth bend or something, and also they were in the desert. I also loved the drawing style. Since I enjoy both western and asian cartoons, I'm not a purist so don't mind the cross over.

There are two parts to every season, with a break between them lasting months. I think it's because the eps take a while to make. I could be wrong, though. But I don't think the writer's strike is a huge factor. Yet again, I could be wrong.
