now we we have an evo thread, time to get back on topic! (finally -_-') since we're talking about couples....yay for toph x zuko! i also like suki x sokka, katara x aang, momo x appa, jet x mai, ty lee x haru, and azula x no one cause she's so awesome and independent that she doesn't need a man! (plus, besides zuko, there really aren't any guys that are good enough for her)

Azula and her friends aren't really into anyone(except for mai, who's got a crush on our zuzu)
but, that's just me.

they're only about 6 years apart. meh, they're my two favorite male and female characters so i like them together.
i thought yue was too umm, 'princess-like' for sokka. he needs a girl that's wild and fun and isn't afraid to beat the crap out of him when he makes a sexist comment.
katara and aang are so canon that it's hard to pair them up with anyone else. i don't even like zutara anymore, though i am starting to like zuaang.

true, but it's fun to couple up anime people. but it's easier make couples with ozai's angels when avatar is crossed with naruto. ty lee x shino and mai x kankuro! ^^

i don't know about 'love that couple to bits' but zutara used be my favorite avatar couple. though because of the canon-ness of kaang and the cute~ness of toko i don't really like zutara anymore. the only pairings that i like for katara are kaang and yutara and the only pairings that i like for zuko are toko, azuko, and zuang.

Wow. I don't know what to say. That clip is funny, but in a strange way makes me realize that I am old and no longer a part of that young crowd which tends to name itself with epitomes such as the "shippers", "teeny-boppers", "emo", etc

yep! we're all psycho shippers! but what's a 'teeny-bopper'? and how did emo get into this conversation? i thought we were talking about couples, not zuko-kun.

'teeny-boppers' were the generation of young people who worshiped Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and other teen-targeted boy-bands. I think the term may have originated with Hansen's "Mm'bop" song. I guess that wave is no longer dominant, though. Nevermind.

ohhhhhh. i never had and never will have a boy-band obsession stage in my life. i don't even know what the guys in linkin park look like and they're my favorite band.

yep, zuko-KUN! or zu-kun, same diff. japanese kinda rubs off on you when you love anime as much as i do. i don't even say 'good bye' anymore, just 'ja ne' and i call jeff-san 'baka' all the time. being weird is fun!
