I looked outside the store windows. A storm raged with intense flashes of light, heavy winds, and a falling river of water all across downtown. I sighed heavily as I methodically closed and locked the store. I felt many aches and pains crawl from my legs up to my arms. My head felt light and my eyes had grown dark circles over time. I started to make my way through the central park like normal, with a cracked and old narrow path leading me. I looked around to find the oldest trees which were in full bloom yesterday, had finally let go of it's weakest leaves. The smaller vegetation had already started showing transitions to pale oranges and brown, and by the time I was in the center of the park, the rain had mysteriously slowed a considerable amount. By the time I reached the exit, there was little noise surrounding me. As I continued walking, there was a calm wind that filled the moist air of the empty and dark, wet streets. Streetlights and a full moon lit my path to a lengthy and relatively wide bridge. I walked without haste or hassle to the middle of the structure. I gripped a guarded rail as I looked down at how massive the river was below. It was utter silence as I stared down. My eyes started to follow a single pure flake of snow slowly fall below. Another one came down, and then another. I looked up and saw a white blanket of slowly falling tears come down. I turned from the rail and continued across with a small flicker of a smile. I don't have to chose alone.
