  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

MOPAR or no car when it comes to muscle cars. I have been to a lot of MOPAR shows, owned a 70 Satellite (looks like Road Runner) that was cherry one-owner, and a 73 Scamp (like a Dart) that I swapped out the 318 for and had a 360 put in (bat out of hell when you hit the gas!)....

My favorite car: 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi plum crazy purple

I used to love going to car shows but lost interest in the before long. I'm the type who bores easily and I thought I'd just jump off a cliff if I had to look at even one more Candy Apple '55 Bel Air or Plum Crazy purple Charger. It was always the same boring old cars at every show. I don't expect everyone to start loving the same cars as me but for Pete's sake could I maybe every now and then be surprised by an '87 Grand National, a '69 Firebird, a '91 Syclone or something like that?

I go to shows as much as possible but go to more drag races than anything.

My fav. happens to be the Charger as well wanted one ever since I laid eyes on the Gen. Lee as a kid.

As far as showing, I am restoring a classic Acura/Honda that I'm willing to show to anyone willing to look, it's not all that special but it was my first car so that explains the reason I'm "not willing to let it die". ^_^

Yeah I have to redo the weatherstripping, once that's done I will be gutting, upgrading, swapping the interior to black (from an ugly brown)

Best part, after 16 years, I still love driving it and it's paid for, everyone I know is up to their neck in car payments, had their cars less than 5 years and want a new one.

It being an old Japanese car it doesn't have a lot under the hood but thank God it is a V6 and not a 4.

It IS getting old and I wouldn't mind buying a 2013 Ford Fusion those look nice, but I can't go from a V6 Manual Japanese car to an American I4 or V6 with pretend shift, just doesn't feel right.^_^
