well thats western aus anyway... eastern state are all further ahead, far eastern (AEST) is 2 hours at the moment, and central aus (ACST) 1.5 hours ahead at present. are you from central us?

Yeah - that's pretty amazing.

And yeah, a tim tam is a chocolate covered biscuit (with chocolate in the middle of that again), and for a tim tam slam you need the tim tam and a warm cup of coffee...

1) bite a small hole in two opposing corners (it's a rectangle shape, so the top left, and then the bottom right corner)

2) dip one of the holey ends into the coffee, and put your mouth on the other hole.

3) Suck suck suck! Until you finally get a taste of the coffee

4) Stop sucking, turn the timtam around (so the sloppy holey corner is in your mouth) and put it all in your mouth at once!

This provides a delightful burst as the chocolate is still fairly hard on the outside, but the biscuit is soft - a really nice chocolatey mess...

WARNING: Do not try this whilst eating out, impressing someone you're dating, their parents, etc - it's very messy sometimes (if you can't fit the whole thing in at once like I can, that is!)...

Sasch, we may be missing out, but believe me, humans are human all the world over and if we can find something yummy to jam into our big mouths, we will!!!

Sounds like what my husband does with his cookies - it doesn't matter if it's coffee, milk, tea or juice, he has got to dunk! (I can't stand the sogginess, so I can't do it myself. )
