We have always had a big hub bub over "Strict Subscription" vs "Good Faith Subscription".

Last year at our 31st General Assembly the PCA officially adopted "Good Faith Subscription" as our official position. Although we have always been Good Faith in practice, this official stance allowed for a more thorough record keeping requirement. In the past, Presbyteries were not required to keep a written record of exceptions made by Teaching Elders. The official adoption of Good Faith Subscription made it mandatory that all Presbyteries record exceptions in the minutes and that no exception would be allowed that stikes at the vitals of our doctrine as laid out in the WCF. The most common exception being the WCF's stance on the observation of the Sabbath.

You may view the WCF here: Westminster Confession of Faith

So what are your thoughts on this?

No, it is certainly not new. It is just coming to a head recently for us with this new ruling, though.

The problem with the links I found was they are obviosly biased one way or the other. After a bit of discussion I will post my feelings and vote.

What about Westminster COF Chapt 6/para 3 -
They being the root of all mankind, the guilt of this sin was imputed; and the same death in sin, and corrupted nature, conveyed to all their posterity descending from them by ordinary generation.
I don't think it is "ordinary generation" to be cloned or to be artifically inseminated (pardon my spelling). So to me this may be more outdated than incorrect.
