Many people have noted that it is far more acceptable for people to go topless and nudist beaches in Europe compared to America. I was wondering if churches in European countries disapprove of Christians going to such places, or do Christians go to such places without any risk of censure or disapproval?

culturally, people don't make as much of a deal of it. "If it bothers you, don't go. But if you are passionate about that, why be a hypocrite about it?" That's the attitude.
I get the impression that churches here aren't very efficient -- no matter what they preach, people do whatever they want. In one sense it's sad. Very sad. Too many people are hurting themselves this way. On the other hand, I frankly don't see how a judgemental church society helps very much. To the naive it helps them to not make some big mistakes, but to the determined it only makes them more determined. That's my view.
Frankly I avoid making an opinion about Christians going to nudist beaches. Who knows why they do it. I heard about Christians in America who go to nudist camps as a family. They think that wearing a bikini baithing suit is more suggestive and immodest and lust creating than a naked body in all its beauty and ugliness. So one can go to a nudist place with 'innocent' motives.
Paradoxically, I get the impression that here in france women dress more modistly than in other countries I've lived in, where they have more complexes about nuidity.
