With respect to what? Not all things are addressed in Scripture.

How about "Let the EARTH bring forth ..."? Genesis 1:11 and 1:24.

However, Badfish, do Christians always need scripture? I see nothing about creation of angels in Genesis 1-8, yet many Christians believe in them. When were they created?

I see no scripture on the identity or source of Cain and Seth's wives. What do you do about that?

I see no scripture that the earth goes around the sun. Where is that? Yet you have no problem with that without scripture, do you?

Why does everyone harp on the issue of Cain's wife? It's an old, tired aguement and it doesn't hold water. He married a sister, big deal. He may very well have been married when he killed his brother.

The point is that there is no Scripture saying that is the case, yet folk are happy to believe it.

But Badfish insists on having a Scripture to support evolution.

I also want to know why Biblical literalism is so inconsistant, creationists say we must take Genesis literal without any real reason why we should. Then when they are presented with verses, if taken literally, indicate a flat earth and geocentric universe they say "well it has been proven beyond a doubt that the earth is round and orbits the sun" when we know evolution has been "proven" just as much but they can't accept that. Double standards.
