It is not illegal to own a gun in Canada. As of 14:00 hours, the police have not called it a terrorist attack - just the prime minister who is a pot smoker.I am curious how it happened with a gun. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it illegal to own a gun there? Or did someone smuggle it in? I'm also surprised they call it a terrorist attack. I'd say its just a crazed gunmen who has it out for muslims (sadly).

From what I seen on the "Canadian Border Patrol" anyone coming in (from America) with pot was either turned away, paid a fee or arrested. Doesn't seem like they allow any in. The one guy had "medical cannabis" from California and the officer said "Sir, it may be legal in your state but in Canada our laws are very different and we base things according to how our laws see these issues!".I thought smoking pot was a prerequisite for all Canadians.
tulc(praying for the families of the victims)During the presser, Spicer mentioned that Trump had spoken to Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau offering condolences on the terrorist attack. Then Spicer used the attack to justify Trump’s executive order by describing the shooting as “a terrible reminder of why we must remain vigilant and why the president is taking steps to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to our nation’s safety and security.”
This might be relevant if the shooter was a refugee from one of the seven Muslim majority countries Trump banned from entering the United States. Instead, the suspect is Vincent Boissoneault, a 27-year-old college student who happens to be a white supremacist and a huge fan of far right nationalists like Trump and France’s National Front leader Marine Le Pen.

Well Randy Quaid and his wife were "guests" in Canada for a bit running from the Law:From what I seen on the "Canadian Border Patrol" anyone coming in (from America) with pot was either turned away, paid a fee or arrested. Actually its very scary just how limited you are on bringing anything over the border. Even a pair of tiny scissors (like for fabric) are not allowed. Thought that was in 2011. It may have changed.

Despite the conspiracy theories, the US is NOT the only country with legal gun owershipI am curious how it happened with a gun. Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it illegal to own a gun there? If there's an attack by a Muslim the press call it a lone gunman.
If there's an attack on Muslims by a lone gunman the press call it a terrorist attack.
Wrong.
Terrorist attacks by Muslims are called "radical Islamic terrorism", while those by Christians for Christian reasons are called "lone gunmen", and "disturbed individuals".
This guy was a strong alt-right person online, and portrayed himself as a Christian crusader - a fan of Trump, Le Pen, and William Lane Craig. He killed a half dozen peaceful Muslims due to his religious differences, and still we get portrayals of him like this times article below.
This is white, Christian privilege.
Until we honestly call this what it is, we'll be seen as hypocrites every time we point out Muslim terrorism.

I could be wrong but I have the impression that white governments are afraid to blame the Muslims for anything. They constantly avoid using the M word in any terrorist attacks.
In Melbourne Australia, a Muslim terrorist drove his car through a crowded shopping strip and killed five. The government and police refused to call it a Muslim terrorist attack even though he was heard shouting Allah Akbar and someone posted this on a facebook page and was told to take it down by police.
What's white Christian privilege?
Where's the evidence the shooter was Christian?
I would argue if the shooter was truly following Christ (definition of a Christian), he would be at the mosque to wash feet and not shoot.
What would be your response to a Muslim who says that the Orlando shooter wasn't Muslim, because a true Muslim would have been there to wash feet and not to shoot?
