Conversely, some people are so locked inside the storybook fantasy world of their religious belief that they will deny the evidence of the world they live in - a world supposedly created by the main object of their belief... Humans can be remarkably irrational.Spiritually speaking, some are locked inside their own prison, and the warden is not about to let them out.
Nor do they want out, because the warden (science) has duped them into thinking they are anywhere but in prison, and are living in luxury.
IN GOD WE TRUSTIt's why the old Russian aphorism is "Trust, but verify", not "Trust unreservedly".
Maybe it's short for, "IN THE CONCEPT OF GOD WE TRUST"...IN GOD WE TRUST

Scientists, not atheists.Their argument is the big bang though. Although I believe that God caused it,.. atheists actually mean to tell me that for no reason at all there was this big gas explosion and everything came into being and apes turned into human beings? Sounds like a science fiction novel to me. I'm surprised that there aren't any theories of aliens breeding with us.
Seems they both speak the same language.Scientists, not atheists.
Well, on an average day I go-et up, do my bathroom routine, get a breakfast and prepare a lunch box. I feed my pet cats and go to work. After 8 hours of work I get home, with possibly a stop at the grocery shop. I do some house chores, feed the cats again, prepare diner, east and clean up the kitchen. In the vneing I go on the internet, read a book or post silly stuff here. Then I brush my teeth and go to sleep. And the next day it's apporximately the same. The weekends are different though.Forgive me for answering your question with a question,.. but I'm just curious how unbelievers make it through life without the grace of God.
This and other posts of eleos1954 clearly show why the thread title is bogus.Didn't say there isn't christian scientists .... evolution from animals ... can't believe that if you believe the Genesis account.
Certainly are christian scientists and they believe we humans were created by God and are different from the animals.
In Gods Word .... He created the animals before man and on a different day.
Mankind was created in His image (image of God) NOT in the image of animals.
We are not animals .... we are human created in His image .... God is not an animal .... neither are we.
Nope, it is built on facts, like the pattern of simliraties and differences between extant species, the fossil record, the geographical distribution of species etc.The evolution model is built on theory
Yup.Are there christian scientists?
Seems they both speak the same language.
Sure, then why is AV1611VET equating atheists with scientists?List of Christians in science and technology - Wikipedia
Yes. It would not be unreasonable to say that virtually every branch of the sciences has been founded by Christians.
Including, say, Charles Babbage and Tim Berners-Lee, who enabled your ability to post that, and when we get to the point of widespread deployment of Quantum Computing, Heisenberg will have been instrumental in that.
Oh, and by the way, at the moment of writing your post count is at 11 and you have already produced an untruth. Not true at all. The notion that Christians can only be Young Earth Creationists, and must either accept the atheist's version of naturalistic evolution or abandon Christianity, is an utterly stock straw man atheist argument.
Where are you more apt to find an atheist? inside a lab, or inside a church?Sure, then why is AV1611VET equating atheists with scientists?
Probably a church. It would be interesting to know how many church goers truly believe, but it's far from all of them. I used to go to church after I lost my faith because it was comfortable.Where are you more apt to find an atheist? inside a lab, or inside a church?
I suspect there may be quite a few who wouldn't admit to atheism but go more out of habit and comfort than an explicit belief in God.Probably a church. It would be interesting to know how many church goers truly believe, but it's far from all of them. I used to go to church after I lost my faith because it was comfortable.
Most of the Christians I've met who reject evolution have some sort of misunderstanding of evolution, and reject it due to a lack of accurate information.I was just wondering because I saw this video and evolution doesn't necessarily revolve around the fact that monkeys turned into humans. So I really want to hear your insight on this. (Although I agree with the fact that religion should never be forced on anybody.)
Quantity over quality! Most of the Christians I've met who reject evolution have some sort of misunderstanding of evolution, and reject it due to a lack of accurate information.
