Clearly you mean something rather different by "fundamentalist" than the way the term is commonly used now to describe those who hold to the five Fundamentals as necessary to salvation, or merely as a pejorative.And thus you made the typical leap of illogic that anyone who dares to give a modicum of respect to the Fundamentalist tradition, in the face of a clearly incorrect characterization by the poster to whom I was responding, must himself be a Fundamentalist.
