  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Atavisms

Assuming these atavisms are what you guys are guessing they are, perhaps the gene pool was messed up by the fallen angels of Genesis 6 performing genetic engineering?

Yes, atavisms are what we're "guessing" they are. Science is pretty nifty.

To address your unfounded speculation, I have a few questions first. So, the angels filled organisms up with genes associated with evolutionary ancestors, allowed them to be at times reactivated, to... trick us into believing in evolution? Or did they just feel like adding unnecessary information, so that the odd mutant would pop out, despite no fault of its own? What's the point in that?

Regardless, why are they here in the present day? Why do so many organisms carry these ancestral genes? If it were just fallen angels messing with our DNA, why does the "messing" always corroborate the evolutionary tree?

(And I don't wish to elaborate further with questions by those who automatically dismiss my point, designing questions to fail my point. I'd much rather stay within the confines of the Creation Week, since creationists were targeted in the OP.)
You mean refuting your point.

I'll say it again:

Atavisms have nothing to do with the creation week.

Nothing.
