THIS is the kind of thing I am talking about...athesits being rude to Christians! NOT right NOR fair. Personally I don't think athesist should be in mod/leader positions. HOW can they weigh in on say...Nazerene doctrine etc. IF THEY DON"T KNOW IT? They don't believe in God or want anything to do with Him..SO why??? WHY?? ERWIN? WHY?
But it's ok to kick non-believers to the curb and persecute them?I agree with you BIG time. A NON believer wants Nothing to do with the belief of God.
So why should the non believers have the mod/leader position?! Why are Christians getting kicked into the corner and being persecuted?
An non-believer DOES NOT believe in God. I don't know how someone can serve on a Christian board if they are not Christian?! It's like throwing an atheist in a Church to preach as a Pastor to church people....it's not going to work!!

Just as non-christians and some liberal christians are screaming for inclusion and will stoop to anything to achieve that. What's the difference except you agree with one and disagree with the other?

God would be SO proud
I think in terms of social government and judiciary oversight, equity is extremely important. I don't think that applies to a Church or other social institutes such as that. I don't think it applies to theological systems, either.I didn't mention any of the things you're suggesting. I only mentioned inequality which was the hallmark of the former CF. The problem isn't that we don't understand what you mean. I think the biggest problem is that we do understand what you mean. It's just that how you want to present it and what it actually is are two distinctly different things. You either believe that equality is appropriate and moral or you don't. It would seem that you don't. So much for Christian values. They're great to talk about but unfortunately, many don't like them so much when asked to put them into practice.
Christians do believe in equality and the rights of others.... I will not take them away from anyone, as that is God's domain.I didn't mention any of the things you're suggesting. I think if it weren't for the fact that the old CF was modeled on the same kind of values which lead to the Inquisition and the Crusades -- a distinctly extremist and out-dated system, it wouldn't appear that the new system is such an extreme change. Anytime you attempt to move from systems based on those found in the Dark Ages to something more akin to modern democracy, the two will seem to represent the extremes of the spectrum. That's likely because one focuses on equality and control in the hands of the people and the other focuses on dictatorial systems with the control firmly in the hands of a select few who are allowed to hide their activities and violate the very rules they're supposed to be enforcing. The only reason anyone ever has the need to hide what they're doing is when they know it's wrong and would be received very poorly by the masses.Wow.
I personally dont care for either option, as I think they are far too extreme from one another.
Ok, can we keep this in perspective? People are being tortured for their faith in many countries. No-one on this board has been persecuted, Christian or otherwise.
You mean option 2?I feel that there is a happy medium, although given the two options, I think that option one has it hands down.
This is a Christian site. If a Christian goes onto a Muslim site he know's he's going to be the minority. Same thing here.
If you don't want to be a member of this CHRISTIAN site, then leave. Go join IIDB and complain, for all I care.
It's time for the Christians to take back Christian Forums.
I'm not twisting your wordsYou're taking my words and twisting them. It's a CHRISTIAN site....where Christian should teach those who are lost! Not a non-believer teaching a Christian.
As I think you are fully capable of seeing the difference between my on post and your misrepresentation, I will not press the matter further. Nor will I respond to any of your future posts. It was your statement that conservative Christians were the problem don't think I misrepresented anything there
No it is not ok ... and I think we need to get back to what we want the CF VISION to be for the future because as was pointed out by TLF until we can define that there will be no going forward we will always be at square one.But it's ok to kick non-believers to the curb and persecute them?
God would be SO proud
I'm not twisting your words
I'm simply stating the facts, and the fact is, Christians persecuted non-Christians on this forum
Dude, earlier you compared CF to the holocaust, and now you're insisting there's actual persecution here.I'm simply stating the facts, and the fact is, Christians persecuted non-Christians on this forum
