We are never told to put our faith in the church..Our faith is not even of us but a gift from God.. We put our trust in Jesus alone.. He is the author and the finisher of our Faith.. Faith cometh from hearing and hearing from the word of God.
The church is not Christ.. The church is Christ's ambassadors.. We are the bride of Christ.. We have not yet been to the marraige supper of the Lamb. God contains all we need in His word. If we want to find God we go to His written word. If we want to see what God thinks of something We go to His written word. If we want to find a light to our path we go to His written word. If we don't want to sin against Him we hide His word in our hearts.The Church is Christ!!! It is His Body, of which He is the Head. It is where He is manifested. It is where we partake of Him. Absorbing ourselves in His word is one way we partake, but there are other ways too. Christ did not limit Himself to a book, for He is Infinte . . . He is everywhere present and filling all things. The Truth you read about in Holy Scriptures must be made known. It is made known in His Church, in His saints, in His Worship, in His Heavenly Hosts, in His Sacraments, in His Icons, His priesthood, His hymns of the Church . . . Wherever Christ is, there is Perfection and Holiness.

And I did not read your post wrong. You said it was a problem that people put faith in their Church, it's Doctrines and it's teachings. So according to you, it's a problem to put faith in the Body of Christ, which He Himself established here on earth as the visible Church. This is what you said, you can't take it back now. You could admit you are wrong, but not take it back like you never said it.
