Hi,
I was wandering what Piano level do I need to have completed before I'm good enough to join a band. I have a few friends who are musicians and we're thinking about it. Respond Please...

theres no set rules, do it when ever you feel comfortable, and play whatever youre comfortable playing

I know, I meant what level should I go through to be able to comfortably play common melodies for Rock, Pop, etc.

yeah, there's no limit. I've heard some that are way too good to be in that level of a band.. then others that are way too bad to even be leaving the comfort of their own home. If you feel you know how to play well, and are comfortible with playing.. Go for it! You'll have time to practice with the bands before they throw you out in front of people
