  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey ya'll

Looks like I might have the opportunity to get a new job with much more potential, not to mention better benefits, than my current one. I interview on Thursday. Problem is, I finally got to a point where my company may offer me the manager position of the store that I'm in. Sooooo, I may end up running into having to make a deciscion and I'm praying that God will make it clear to me.

I am also getting my wisdom teeth yanked in a few weeks and I have a huge cavity in one that has been bothering me. I'm hoping I can last 3 weeks without it bothering me and having to set up an emergency appointment which I don't really have the time for.

So please pray for me that this job situation will work out for the best and that my teeth will not hurt too badly for the next few weeks. Also praying for a fast recovery since I will probably be starting a new job or position right around that same time.

Thank you all for praying. For one reason or another, God shut the door on this other job. I did receive the promotion to manager and even though I don't really enjoy my current job, at least it is paying the bills and is a job.

As for the teeth, I am now 2 days after getting all 4 wisdom teeth yanked and am recovering pretty quickly. I still have a little swelling on one side, but no real pain to speak of.
