CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Very interesting question. If I could do anything at all with nothing to hold me back... it would be to run a boys a home for boys without families. I would love to have one on huge amounts of land where I can build all kinds of fun "arenas" for the boys to cut loose and truely experience life... dirt bike track, horse stalls, basketball courts, ponds for fishing, etc... That would be my dream.

That is an amazing dream to have. Not everyone could handle something like that. It takes a very special person to be able to work with kids of that nature.

Hmm... interesting. I just moved in less than 3 weeks ago, so my house is pretty clean and organized for the most part. I would probably have to say my closet, because I still have a few boxes of stuff in there that I need to go through and find somewhere to put it.

Wow. I am trying to think about that question. That is really hard to answer, as I am pretty straight forward and honest with myself and others.
I think, like a ot of people, when I fall into certain sins (lust is the key one) that it really isn't a big deal, in order to justify my actions to myself.

Yes, I would. I know it probably isn't ethical, but I would find it very interesting. Maybe even a bit entertaining. But, I would only do it if I could control it.... turn it off and on. I would not do it if it was on every second and I couldn't control it.

Wow, only 1 thing in all of history? That is pretty wide open.
I guess if I had to choose one thing about myself, it would be to have attacked life instead of merely just surviving it at time. I would have been more bold.
I don't think I could change anything in history. All things happen for a purpose.

Mentally, I feel a lot younger because I still like to goof of and have fun. I can still be pretty immature.
Physically, I feel a lot older at times because of how bad my knees are. I've had 5 knee surgeries so far and my knee really gives me problems at times.

Vacation:
My most recent vacation was a trip to Hawaii this past Christmas. This trip was a true blessing to me...
I could never afford this trip on my own. There was a kid I was working with at my old school. His mom was in prison and his dad had passed away. He was staying at my house off and on when he needed a place to crash. I was always making sure he had meals, school supplies, etc... To be honest, at times, it was really draining being a 27 year old man and all of the sudden having a 17 year old that you were taking care of a lot of times.
Well, the God-father and current guardian of this young man wanted to thank me for all I have done for this kid, so he took me with his family to a cruise around the Hawaiian islands. It was a true blessing to have him do that for me. I will never forget that trip.
