CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

- Mission trip: Well this may seem like an odd choice but I'd like to go to France. I know that's not a poor country but I've heard that it's becoming increasingly secular and that people are trying to bring back a stronger passion for God there - plus I've studied French all through high school and plan on studying it at University. I'd also like to go to any franco-speaking African country.
- Friends: I look for people who aren't really materialistic because I can't see eye to eye with people who care more about material things than anything else. People who are compassionate, but also like to have their own space. My friends are all a little like me in some ways, but none of them are VERY much the same.
I've got one friend who's very different from me but we've been friends for years - sometimes I forget why I'm still friends with her because she's so different and then when we hang out I realise it's because we laugh at the same things.- Terrorism: I'd be REALLY upset, shocked, horrified if terrorists targeted children. I don't think we should be waiting for this kind of attack in particular. The war on terror is a bit ridiculous in my opinion - I don't know about the rest of the world but in Australia the anti-terrorism laws are violating human rights.
- Doctor: There's no way I could actually be a doctor but if I was, I'd be a dermatologist that bulk-billed
- Pedophiles making their own websites: I don't think this is right at all. Sorry but I'm on dialup and can't view the video!

he has done our country good, we dont have the 17% intrest rates that labour left us with and our schools and hosptials are better off. i dont want labour to get in kevin rudd will turn aus into a strip club probably lol

its kind of "who is the smallest liar" haha. he is not acting like the typical labour polititions i just dont trust him. pluss i dont stand for the things like allowing abortions, gay marrages and all the other liberal things they stand for hehe. and although i dont like the war i agree with why there there because iraq is a terroist nation, muslems are taught that suiside bombing it somthing they have todo and there government is very corrupt.
