Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have 2 mutt dogs. Well ... one is a cat dog :D she plays like a cat. She's aloof like a cat. Lays in the window's sun like a cat. But she barks like a dog. The other one is just a lovable pooch.

What do you do for a living? (I know you're a nurse. But, having an aunt that is a nurse, I know there are many different kinds) :)
Right now I work as a RN for a very large neurologic practice in WNY. Very cool job. :D

What has helped you the most in your quest to study and understand the bible? I mean are there any particular tools or methods that you feel have been helpful?:)
I have been blessed with a good church that has exceeding good Sunday School teachers that really open up the Word of God. When I'm home I have e-sword and a couple of books when I read my chain referenced Bible in the morning. I love my concordance, my dictionary and book of maps. And, when I can remember the reference, I try to let the Bible interpret the Bible. But I'm not as good as I'd like to be at remembering. :sorry:

That's great Mesue! I can relate to the memory issue too. Once I've heard it several times I can usually hold onto it though! Perhaps the most important thing to remember is that God always rewards us for our diligence in seeking to study his word. Also am a firm believer in the bible confirming and interpreting itself!...God bless:hug:

It's funny you should say that. When I first started reading the Bible through in a year, Leviticus and Numbers were the two books I struggled to get through too. Now a days I just blow through them. But, they are pretty dry, aren't they? :D

When you were little, what did you dream of being when you grew up?

I'm slacking a bit - no questions from me for a couple of weeks. I've been trying to come up with a really good question that makes you think. Hopefully, this is it. . . .

Looking ahead - what's something new and different you'd like to accomplish in the next 5 years?

I used to bring home books from the library "When I Grow Up I Want to Be ..." Nurse, Police Officer, Lawyer ... I settled on nursing when I found out that accountants didn't get paid very well until they had an MBA. I need a career that would support my son (I had him at a very young age) So, here I stand, a nurse. :D

I would like to open a restaurant. Or maybe a craft shop, or a coffee shop for quilters. Something fun where I can hang out and do what I like to do and make money doing it.

Summer is fast approaching - do you have special plans for this summer?

edie

go camping here and there. Only, this summer I'm not working. at least I don't think so, so I'll have more time to go on day trips to the beach. :D

If you don't mind my asking - I know you're a nurse (at least I assume so from your avatar) - how do you get the summer off? Nurses are always busy.

I live in a very pretty State that has lots of campgrounds for weekend camping. Also, I am 75% disabled and can only work PT or Per Diem.

May 19th Sony pictures will be releasing The DaVinci Code. Without question it has gotten a lot of advance attention. Will you make the trip to see it?

edie
I just seen this today.
Nope. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD, like I did The Passion.
This way I'm not in the theater saying "That's not what my Bible says." I can talk to my TV :sorry:
