CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How long youve been in cf,im newbie..

Hmmm i think i've been on here about a year now...a friend of mine found the site and she showed it to me..im really enjoying it. Its a great place to have random chats, seek advice and just talk to other people. I also love that we can pray for other people on here and vice versa that they can pray for me - sometimes its easier asking a total stranger for help than someone you know lol

Do you have an Australian accent? lol well im sure i do..but no i sound nothing like steve irwin...very few aussies do. I didnt think i had that much of an accent until my canadian pastor made a joke one day about hoe i said "get over here" apparently i sounded very much like an aussie lol
What are your views on Kiwi's? lol i dont have that whole australia v's kiwi rivalry thing....I love New Zealand...went there for a holiday a few years back and really there are so many kiwi's here now that you really forget we are from two different countries...plus my cousin in a kiwi and alot of my friends.

Its been a while since i've had a genuine holiday - but i was fortunate enough to go on a missions trip last December to Thailand...we spent a week in Bangkok and a week in a tribal village. It was one of the best experiences of my life so far and i cannot wait to do it again. There were so many moments during my trip when i just stopped and was completely awe struk as to where i was and what a privledge it was to be there.
