The big college bowl games are coming up this weekend. Which one interests you most:

USC vs. Texas (Rose Bowl for National Championship)

or

Ohio State vs. Notre Dame (Fiesta Bowl - 2 really big teams who rarely play each other)

I almost didn't ask you the question because I knew what your answer would be

I'm thinking that I'll be the only one cheering for the Buckeyes at my house - everyone else will be cheering "Go Irish"

My 18 year old son is an Irish fan. LOL ... It will be a fun weekend. !! Happy NEW YEAR !!

Gee.... I am not much of a writer but if I was dreaming of writing a book, I would write a Christian encouraging book for people who are disabled.

Jim - what a great game your Buckeye's played last week! I truly thought the Fiesta Bowl would be much closer than it was. My son decided to watch the game at his house (alone). I think that was a wise decision - I'm sure he was pretty grumpy about the outcome. It was fine with me though

Now to my next question:

Do you have a "fun" vice? For example - I like fancy coffees, in the summer there's nothing better than those frozen coffee slushes. In the winter I love the lattes (my current favorites hot buttered toffee and s'more mocha).

What are your goals for 2006?

Let's see:

1. Go to Sunday School classes every Sunday
2. Get involved in Church ministries (My wife and I just joined this Church a few months ago)
3. Have more dates with my wife (without the kids)

Other than that, everything remains the same

Sorry about the Irish losing the game to the Buckeyes. Maybe next time !! Irish is looking good for next year though. I think the Irish have a great shot on going to the National Champs !!

My wife and I have our "mini-dates" when we go out. When we do, we go for "fancy coffee" like you do !! Summer.. Cold Coffee slushes.... Winter... great lattes (various flavors, we like to experiment). Oh yes, on most Sundays, on the way to Sunday School class, we stop for extra shots of lattes. Can't fall asleep in class.

1. Working 40+ hours a week
2. Studying my Sunday School lessons
3. Debating in General Theology
4. Cudding with my wife while watching TV
5. Getting ready to do some income taxes (I am an accountant)

Oh yeah.. I am getting my usual weekly shot, man I hate needles !! LOL

Yes.. I have a schedule I follow. I am one of those freaks who likes to be organized and everything be on schedule.

Figure Skating (My wife will make me watch this)

Ski Jumping
Snowboarding
Speedskating

Looks like most winter olympic sports. There is one Winter Olympic Hockey will never forget, the 1980 USA win over USSR !!!

That was my first exposure to hockey I hardly ever go to the movies, but took my son & his family to "Miracle" the first week it was out. Amazing movie based on an amazing event. I can close my eyes and hear Al Michaels "do you believe in miracles? YES!"

I love that movie. When I heard when the coach died of an automobile accident, I was very sad. He was really a COACH who disciplines and trains athletes to play their best. !!! Al Michael's famous quote will never die ~!!!
