What was your most memorable hike?

Pre-colonial to Colonial North American history. I enjoy reading about their struggles and how they dealt with things they encountered in the wild, or how they established trade with the Indians.

Have you read any of Allan Eckert? The Frontiersmen sounds like it would be right up your alley!

What was your most memorable hike?

It was a hike in the cohutta wilderness area. The views were pretty sweet and the hike was difficult but it was worth it. I want to go back soon.

I've heard of it but I haven't read it. I've heard people say that it's a really good book though. Is it worth looking in to?

Yes! If you love history, especially frontier history, it's a must read. He has written others, but I'd start with The Frontiersmen.

Maybe during Christmas break if its not too cold. I don't fish a whole lot in the middle of the winter. Its too cold for the fish and for me.

To eat or to catch? Crappie are my favorite fish to eat and bass are my favorite fish to catch.

Spontaneous adventures are always the most memorable ones. I prefer to plan, but spontaneous road trips are awesome.
