  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is why I will always be an apprentice... the Jedi don't like me, the Sith don't like me. I'm all alone. :( Oh wait... did you just accidentally tell me where to go? Thanks! This better not be a mind trick. :D

Probably:

Matthew 11:28-30 ESV

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

And

Galatians 2:20 ESV

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

And

Romans 12:21 ESV

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I'm also partial to the Sermon on the Mount. That's what comes to mind right now. :)

I have watched a couple midnight releases:
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
"" Deathly Hallows 1 & 2
Iron Man 2
Thor
Captain America

That I remember, I played Final Fantasy 1, 3, 7, and 12. I think my favorite is probably the first one just because it was my first RPG and I've been a fan of that genre ever since.

If you were stranded at the south pole and could have 5 books with you which would you choose?

I suppose I'd want both quantity and quality if I was stranded there. Quality because I'll be trying to hide from the cold and quantity because I might need them for kindling.

1) One of my bigger Bibles
2) War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
3) The Complete Works of Shakespeare
4) Bleak House by Charles Dickens
And
5) At the Mountains of Madness by H. P. Lovecraft which will prepare me for when the strange half-vegetable creatures buried there come to life.

I haven't finished all of Shakespeare's works. I think my goal next year will be to read them all. Mountains of Madness is on my Nook and I plan to get to it after I finish one of my current books. Dickens and Tolstoy are two of my favorite authors.

Which Shakespeare works have you read so far? And what was your favorite of them?

What is your favorite Skyrim questline? City in Skyrim? and Main Quest quest?

What is your favorite genre of music?

What do you for a living?

What is the average air speed velocity of a swallow?

One of my favorites is The Forsworn Conspiracy. I like Riften probably the most. I think the best main quest is probably Elder Knowledge because you go to so many cool places.

I don't know if I have a definite favorite. I tend to listen to 90s rock, old school blues and jazz, classical, 60s folk, some metal, and Latin and Orthodox hymns.

I'm a student and library worker.

Laden or unladen? ;

Yeah, that was a good one. It was kind a short quest line, my roommate and I just saw it as one long quest, I did it in one sitting. Riften's good, I think in terms of beauty: Markarth, but overall it's Solitude. I hated Elder Knowledge, my favorite was Soverngarde

It's like the last quest on the main quest line. My first character, I pretty much went straight through the main quest.

I have a character who is about there on the main quest line. I've thought about just going through and finishing it just to see how it is.
