CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

what are the top three issues that you struggle with as
- a teacher-1. mean parents, 2. too much paperwork, 3. back/neck pain from standing up and bending down
- a friend- 1. not seeing my friends, 2. not knowing how to be a better friend. 3. I don't have many friends
- a single woman- 1. I feel unloved, 2. I want to love and be loved in a special way and I can't 3. I would rather have a family than be single forever and that's frustrating to me
- a young woman-1. I want to stay young, 2. I feel my youth is being wasted. 3. I want a family while I am young not when i'm old
- a daughter- 1. my parents pity me b/c I don't have a family of my own, 2. my parents aren't Christians and it's hard to live my faith openly sometimes, 3. I struggle with my parents being proud of me; I don't think they are.
- a homeowner-1. keeping my grass cut, 2. Trying to decide what color to paint the downstairs bathroom after I strip it of the ugly duck wallpaper, 3. keeping myself from buying everything that I see that I love for the house.
- a christian-1. I struggle with really believing that God loves me and is happy with me (probably caught up in the way I percive my parents), 2. I struggle with the way some Chrisitans treat me and other people and not treating them back the same way. 3. I struggle with trusting God.

music i like a wide spectrum of things. I listen to secular things *gasp* and Christian music. I like U2 and Switchfoot and many many many other bands out there.
Movies- I love anything funny. I love anything with Adam Sandler in it- Mr. Deeds and Happy Gilmore are some of my all time favs. I do like Romance movies, but i can't watch them as of late- they make me feel very discontent and I don't need that right now in my life. I like advendure/ mystery things (National Treasure). I love old movies. Roman Holiday is one of my all time favorites.
