If you had an opportunity to interview anyone from anytime who would it be and why?

Hmmm... It's kinda hard to pick just one person. I'd like to ask the authors of the New Testament about some of the things they wrote that cause divisions among Christians today. Since Paul wrote most of it, I guess I'd pick him.

What is your favorite Bible story? why??

I don't think I can pick just one favorite story. I like them all so much. If I have to pick just one, I think I'd pick the story of Joseph because it shows that God can take an ordinary person and use him to do great things. Maybe He can even use me.

Are there any other websites you visit daily?

Share what they are if you wish

There are a few I visit often. The one's I visit every day that aren't work related are www.cnn.com and www.mbl.is (an Icelandic newspaper). I also go pretty regularly (nearly every day) to www.christianmingle.com.

Theofilus, You earned my respect a long time ago, because of the superiority of your Biblical knowledge.

What advise would you give someone like me...who would feel very blessed to have the insight you do, someday?

Thank you for the compliment.

I think the thing that has helped me most has been a willingness to listen to people outside my own group or denomination. No group or denomination has a monopoly on the truth and nobody has a monopoly on error either. Keep your mind open to new ideas wherever they come from. Check out what the Bible says about those ideas and accept or reject them accordingly.

I Thes. 5:21 says it pretty well.

Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

The old desert island question. What book besides the Bible and a book on building ships, what book would you want with you?

If I were to spend the rest of my life alone on a desert island I would probably soon get bored with whatever book I would take to read. I would want a book of blank pages (aka diary) to write things in.

If I have to pick a book to read, it would probably be The Lord of the Ring trilogy (I think you can get that in one book somewhere). I've never read it (shame on me), I like the movies and it's based on the Bible.
