hmmm, i don't know. Do you mean friends, co-workers, or strangers? My percentage might be a bit off, b/c right now i don't have many close friends and i'm kind of quiet. I think a lot that i don't talk with others about.

When you talk with other people, what percentage of the conversations tend to deal with:

people: like people we know? i don't see my very close friends much so when we do get together we catch up about the people we know. maybe 40%

ideas: i wish it was more , it's hard to find people that will listen to ideas especially original ones, maybe 30% and that's due to lack of others to discuss ideas with

places/things: hmmm 20%

religion: I try to talk about scripture and Jesus a lot, but not in a fake way- abotu what God is teaching me or what i've read. I don't really talk much about religion per say. I'd say about 40%. I talk about Jesus and God and His word interwoven with talks about people, ideas, places, and things.

I think i have made a lot of good descions with money and investing. I give that credit to my dad, who i talk with a lot about financial things. I listen to what he has to say, and that advice has helped me. I don't have the future all mapped out; i mean who really knows- the Lord can do what He will regardless of my plans. I have made some investments for the future. I would like to get to the point where i see someone in need and i don't hesitate to help them.

Sometimes i think i should, and i almost put one person on ignore b/c they are a bully and they sent me several nasty pm's b/c they took one thing i posted and completely flipped out. It was weird. How long were you house shopping before you decided on your current one? Well , I hadn't intended to buy. But my landlord died and his wife decided to sell the house i was renting with a roommate. My roommate was so controling and unpleasant that I decided that i never wanted another one unless it was my husband. So i started looking in Feb. of 2006 and i found the house i wanted around the middle of March. I had to find something quick and i'm pretty picky about houses. It was by accident that i came across this house and it turned out to be perfect and everything that i wanted!

lol yeah, i work real hard to collect those blessings every week.

(you should post some updated pictures) originally it had 2 bedrooms and one tiny bathroom, but the previous owners renovated the attic to be the master suite so now it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I love it! yeah, i need to clean it so i can take pictures

What improvements do you want to make to your house? My downstairs bathroom is so so tiny. I want to put in a bay window to make it appear larger, tile the floor (right now it has linoliom), and put in the original bathtub from the house (it was a clawfoot tub that was removed to modernize the house in the 80's, but it's in the barn and in great condition, so i think it would add value and character to the house to put it back in).

What have you accomplished since you've been back from your vacation? oh my, not much. I've been trying to milk the last few joys of summer before i go back to work on Friday. I've been helping with a disciple thing at my church each night for kids.

yay i did! I went to Savannah and a nearby island for 4 days.

I go back today!!! ugh, i'm about to leave and get back to the grind.

I slept late everyday!!! I went to the gym nearly everyday. I went to Savanah and Tybee for 4 days. I cleaned my house really good. I made a few purses and bags. I don't have that big of a tan. Tans are really bad for your skin so i wear a lot of unblock.

Wow, what are you doing going back so early? I know sports tends to start this early, but classroom stuff??? When do the kids go back to class?

That's what i want to know!!! it is TOO early! We are on a "balanced" schedule; which means we only get about 6 and a half weeks for summer and during the year we get four extra weeks off- spaced out throuout the year. The kids come next friday.

Wow, that schedule sucks!!!!!!! It is like there really was no break for the kids -- the summer needs to be ridiculously long, and upon returning all your classmates from last year should seem changed...

Is that schedule unique, or are most schools doing that now???? Wow, that is sickening...

How long do kids get for recess each day? What kinds of things do you have for them to play with? When I was in K-2nd-ish, it seems like recess was all about violence for me......

I think most schools are doing it now. I really like having the breaks during the year, but i hate the short summer.

My grade gets about 15-20 min. of recess a day. Any longer than that and they start to fight about EVERYTHING. They can get jump ropes and balls from the PE room during recess, but most of them just like playing on the playground equipment- swings, monkey bars, running around and chasing people.

nope no celebrity crushes for me.

yeah i like the books and movies. If my child was interested in the books; i would read it with them and discuss what we read.
