  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm not being sarcastic. The movie has some lovely displays of faith, especially by the kids (there are a few odd scenes, however...mostly just director manipulation)
oh ok, i guess i should see it then instead of just reading 2nd hand accounts.
Where is your computer located in your house?my living room

Edit: Air1 is the online radio station I told you about months ago, mina! geezz ow ;)

Your organic taste, opinion of health care being a disaster, and hatred of No Child Left Behind all points towards you being pinko-ish, at least in some areas. Where do you consider yourself along the political spectrum, or are you above that?

Did you know this was my 1001th post? Yay

Where do you consider yourself along the political spectrum, or are you above that? I'm not really into politics and i don't trust politicians. Does pinko-ish mean democrat? I don't think i wuold consider myself a democrat. I'm usually very conservative, actually really conservative. I don't know if it's possible to be totally for all issues on either side. I just know that I have experienced health care and NCLB on a first hand basis and i wasn't impressed. I actually thought NCLB was thought up by several democrats to begin with (Ted Kenedy being one). I think it was the help of both political parties that have gotten schools and health care in such a bad state.

Did you know this was my 1001th post? Yay yay you should eat some popcorn!

yeah, seriously i need to go to bed. But it's so much fun to stay up!

I have to drink cold juice in the morning to wake me up. And i look forward to my one break at like 10 in th e morning, b/c it's the only time i can go to the bathroom and it's nice to have a break. On days we don't have specials it makes me really mad.

it's either art, music, p.e (2 x's a week), or computer lab. There's a special teacher for each, so i just drop my kids off and wave bye bye. Sometimes we won't have them, like if the teacher is absent and the principal decided to not get a sub, or there is an assembly or something. But i like having normal days where the kids and i can both have a break. It makes me a nicer and better teacher.

Are the kids supposed to wear special clothes on PE day? No, but they need to be wearing sneakers, and if they want to dress up that day they need to bring a change of clothes for pe

If you were offered $10,000 more per year to work the same hours in a place with the same cost of living, would you move away? If not, how much would it take?
hmmmm, that sounds good. I guess a lot of it depends on if i would have a good boss or not, and if my life would get better. I probably would take that.
Favorite holiday? Thanksgiving, but i also like to decorate for Christmas and i like the meaning of Christmas :)

I do like to fish as long as it's not 100 degrees outside.

I've been watching tennis. I don't really like to watch sports on tv. In person, i like to watch anything.
Were you involved in many sports when you were younger? Which ones?

Would you encourage your future kids to get involved in sports and take them seriously?

no, my brothers and i played baseball in our back yard with the neighbors and I took tennis lessons for a while, but the only organized sport i did was ballet for 11 years

I would if they were so inclined. If they loved it and wanted to do it I would support them 100%. But i would not push them to do something they hated.

How important is it to you that your future husband attend church? Say, instead, that he preferred to sleep in on Sundays and have at-home Bible study in the evening? It would be important to me that he is involved in church and ministry. My father never went to church with us. I guess he did at first and occasionally, but i hardly remember those times. He went to night things sometimes if my mom could get him to. But, i think that had a deep impact on my brothers lifes. My father is a good man better than most men i know. It always made me feel bad as a child that our family wasn't together at church. I would like my husband to be the spiritual leader in our home and help me show our children that it's important to be a part of the body of Christ. Who knows, maybe my future husband and i will find a church that meets at 2 in the afternoon and then we can all sleep in.

Would you consider someone as a mate if he was Catholic? probably not. I would probably want to marry someone that had similar beliefs to mine. I don't know though. It depends if they put their Catholism before their Christianity. I would not marry a non-Christian
