CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just am having a hard time with my boss and trusting what he says. Also, the chain of command is really messed up. And the board office (made up of people who know nothing about children or how to teach a classroom of them) is making up all sorts of crazy requirements that we must do or we are threatened with a non-renewal of contract, or bullied into transfers. It just makes my sense of right and wrong and justice and putting children first feel way way off and it makes me wonder if i really want to be a part of these things that aren't in the best intrest of the children. It's mostly about money and making the big daddies look good, which i hate.

Work is not fun. I just don't have the passion for teaching anymore; at least not for right now. I've decided to pursue another degree. I don't really want to go back to school, but it's the only way to get out of this situation so here i am. I'm going to be applying to some online programs of study. I don't really know what i want to do yet, but maybe i'll figure it out.

no, i have to finnish out my contract. I suppose i could quit mid year, but working min. wage with no benifits isn't worth it to me. Realistically i'll probably be teaching for at least another year or two, while i get a 2nd degree.

Take it you don't get along with them right?
He's a man, but my other boss is a woman. The funny thing is I always thought I got along with them both. I dunno, they both have done things that have affected the school and me personally that I really don't agree with.

Really they ask about teachers? lol
1.I was very undecided in college what to do. I chose teaching b/c my mom was a teacher and most everyone on her side of the family. Also I love children and want to help them.
2. communication and similar motivating beliefs or outlook in life/ Also I think both partners have to be willing to make it work and willing to compromise and willing to love
3. It's a love affair. Not in the sense that "Jesus is my boyfriend" or anything gross like that. But I have a personal relationship with Christ. I love Him and what He has done for me. I think He is worthy of my love and my life. I try to live out my love for my Savior in everyday life. I try to be in daily communication with God (praying and reading His word) so that I know Him and His character.

I guess I will update you on my illegal alien situation. She's definitely bona fide, and we're pretty much perfect for one another, but I told her that I didn't think it was a good idea that we meet... *shrug* The result: SA suffers some more...and secretly hopes for amnesty????

b. I wish i had my old teaching job back.
