CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Question: Why don't gasoline tanker trucks come equipped with a simple hose to refuel the car behind them, like airplanes are refueled in the air?
Such as car refueling system would avoid the ridiculously inefficient method we use now where the gas you need is right there on the truck ahead of you at the stop light — or the railroad crossing, but the tanker driver says, no you have to follow him all the way to the gas station and once there he still will not let gravity drain the gas into your car, but the tanker driver says — I am not kidding — he is going drain all the fuel into an underground tank and you have to pay to pump it out again. Unbelievable.

They did consider doing that, but then they determined that it would be too hard to pass credit cards and cash back and forth to the truck driver, and then back to you again. Good thought though!
