Are there any rainforest dwelling tribes - or gatherers - that are vegetarian, or is that only possible in an agrarian society?
I don't know about vegetarian, but many known hunter-gatherer societies get very little of their food in the form of meat.

Humans and Chimps have the same dietary needs; Namely little meat (when it is available) while the rest of their diet consists of plants, fruit, and insects. We are omnivorous in nature.

No seriously, the craematorium belongs to the church or the state, and so does the graveyard!!! What happands to them?
They are humanely disposed of, like other human remains. A body donated to medical science will likely have every organ and tissue put to good use. A body whose organs are donated will have the designated organs transplanted into patients, and the body may well be given back to the family so that they can have a funeral. Alternatively, the body may then go on to see use in, again, medical science.

What do you think happens to human remains?

Why the glass is transparent, but speed of light is lower in it?
Just because it's transparent doesn't mean there is no interaction!

Understood classically, what's going on here is that the material has a dielectric constant that differs from one. Basically, when an electric field is applied, the charges in the material shift somewhat to reduce the strength of that electric field within the material. There's also a similar effect on the magnetic field. These two effects combine to change the speed of light, because:

c = 1/sqrt(epsilon*mu)

Here epsilon is the "permittivity" and mu is the "magnetic permeability". In a material like glass, these numbers take on slightly larger values, slowing the speed of light in the material.

Classical explanation would be OK, if you gave the answer of the question "what defines epsilon and mu for glass". Thus I'm going to ask what kind of interaction is taking place. Or IOW, what slows down a particular photon. Is, what exits the glass, the same photon that entered the glass or another photon? If it is not, then what absorbed it and reemitted it? And what remembered the photons original quantum state and reemitted it in the same quantum state? Also, if the photon is absorbed how it happens that the reemitted photon is still entangled with another photon? I think they measured entangled photons while forcing them to travel long fiber-optical channel.
